That was a great first session on Saturday and it felt like a drug being on the track again...
with these amount of people, there might be an extra session needed...

Got 15 laps in before the rain really started. Was a shame as it would have been a tough session, with only 10 or 15 people in the group.
Had alternate plans to head out into Kent with Jaygee if it rained, but It wasn't looking too bad at 9:30, so I opted for the track bike. Jason turned up at the track on his road bike, and headed out towards Biggin Hill. Seems like he made the right choice! Will try and make it down to advanced training tomorrow, and do some pursuit efforts (boring), as the weather isn't looking too bad.

Lol...Starts at 9:00. I'm sure you'd be welcome along, as long as you have your own training plan, and know what you want to do as there is no structured coaching.
Come do some pursuits with me.... 92" and aero bars. -

also had a fun slomo crash sliding off a manhole cover and smashed my Specialized 2D.
And managed to wheelspin away from some traffic lights and nearly went over my bars, and seconds later locked the back wheel and fishtailed around a ped who looked me straight in the eye and walked out on me on Gower St.
Eventful morning.

... a ped who looked me straight in the eye and walked out on me on Gower St.
Fucking nuts. I had two cabs do something similar to me (my right of way) at the exact same spot on consecutive days this week. I'm gettin a feeling that this summer's going to be all about anti-cyclist aggression...

What happened to "efforts" and sorting out your ratio?
Just a reminder to all you trackies that there is a women's only session that runs every Sunday from 13.30 - 16.00 (this will move back to 15.30 - 18.00 once clocks change)
We ran the first session of the season last week and had a huge turn out. Details are already posted on ladies thread but I would really appreciate it if you could spread the word to your mates, colleagues, girlfriends, etc...
We welcome complete novices through to experienced track riders, the group is split according to ability to ensure everyone gets a good workout. It costs the normal £6 and bikes are available to hire free of charge.
Info on the session can be found on our facebook page
