Loving your MK1 GTI!
Here's a photo of my new beater frame, it was a bit of a "barn find" and I'm just waiting on some new bits to complete it (Namely a new quill stem with more drop, possibly some new bars and toe clips and straps) along with a bit of a cleanup, maybe a respray later in the year.

My beater frame in its newest guise.
Looks much nicer with bullhorns than drops in my opinion, also got straps and toe clips too.
