Get the seller to email you the original pics, and to confirm there's no dents, dings, crashes, etc.... Or get them to relist it with a BIN price, but that will cost them again and then there's PayPal charges. You're more likely to get rock bottom price outside of eBay and PayPal, if its worth the risk? If you're mate picking it up isn't too bike savvy you might want to pay the extra pound or two for some more security.
If its too big, you'll get enough back on the frame to buy/swap for a decent one that fits, and have the parts to build it up straight away, so not much to lose.
