Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

First photo it has skidded all over the place and is now on fire
Second photo it has reached the limits of its primitive suspension so quickly that the front wheel is off the ground and it is about to flip over.

I believe that the chap in the first picture may be doing that deliberately, in the second picture the chap is cornering hard on tarmac in a rally car.

I hasn't even been round that bend. It was coming from straight on. probably

frankly that isn't road "holding", so much as road "letting go"

You might want to look at the picture again- the car has just come round the corner at speed and is not understeering despite having only one front wheel on the ground- the picture you are saying shows a lack of road holding is, in fact, showing great road holding.

and the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.
