I also really like Mario Botta's design but he's hugely unpopular these days as he's been written off as a postmodernist which I really don't think he is at all. It's a shame. I'm off the post some Botta in the buildings thread.
Postmodernism is the new Modern (obviously) as everyone has been bludgeoned to boredom with danish sideboards and other 'mid mod'. I just bought a memphis light and it looks really fresh and fun where as 10 years ago i just didn't get it.
