So just managed to negotiate new insurance for £350, down from 800 last year and 1200 year before. Nice.
Voice mail from mechanic saying car ready after major service. Called him and turns out major over-fuelling (seems 6-12mph isn't the norm!) problem and suspension motor issue sorts are going to cost another 1,000!
Well, at least he found no rust! ;)
