They would look entertaining on my Boardman.
Weight- I've honestly never considered the weight of any components on the Boardman, it is my training bike/bike of all work rather than the spoiled thoroughbred.
As such, it's 4kg heavier than my other bike.
I'm changing the cranks due to the infamous BB30 bearing install issue that almost all of these bikes suffer from- any out of the saddle effort is accompanied by "crack! crack! crack!".
That the new cranks are almost half the weight is a happy side benefit.
