Thought I'd put this up on the off chance that anyone sees it on their travels. It's not worth a lot and doesn't hold a special place in my heart but still a kick in the nuts to have something nicked.
It was/is a green Dawes Response (mid 90's at a guess. It had Shimano 300EX groupset on it) was stolen tonight whilst I was in The Griffin Pub on Ravey Street, Old Street Area between 7.45pm & 9.30pm this evening (01/03/12). I've attached a picture of the bike. It had various bmx stickers all over the frame and was fitted with a set of SKS mudguards. Other distinguishing features were a black Charge Bucket saddle, an Orange front tyre and a CNC Peace Sign hanging from the saddle.
I'm almost more pissed off that my genine 90's Sun Ringle 'Peace' cable hanger has gone with the bike! If anyone sees it around let me know. Like I said it doesn't mean a lot to mea and it's not worth loads but it's saved me a decent amount on money that would have been spent on the tube whilst my other bikes are oop'North.
Cheers. -

My bike was stolen tonight outside clissold leisure centre in Stoke Newington. I've posted some pictures, on the off chance that some kind person will help reunite me with it. The bike is a vintage patelli with vetta decals and some beautiful components. The pictures show black handle bar tape but the bike now has white tape. Any help will be much appreciated.

Man, absolutely gutting! My wife's family live near the Paletti shop in Modena. Many's the time I've gone in there for a drool.
Good luck- I hope you find it. I managed to trace my merckx domo frites and get it back when it went walkies in South London- distinctive bikes are hard to shift for bike thieves so have faith...

White with black bars. Well used Flyer stolen from outside the Ginger Pig at about 6.30pm today.
Mission Bikes Sticker "53 MPB" on the crossbar, I'd be very grateful if anyone could let me know if they see it.

hi guys,
my charge plug racer 2010 (the silver version with red chain) was stolen from outside my uni yesterday afternoon. Somehow the bastard broke my D-lock and cut through kryptoflex sometime between 5pm and 7pm! there's CCTV there so hopefully the police will see him. It's marked with www.bikeregister.com so if the police do pick it up it should find its way back to me.
if anyone sees a silver charge plug racer on ebay/gumtree/market can you DM me or put it on this thread?
cheers everyone,
Ian

I wouldn't normally start a new post but my baby has been stolen. My house was broken into and my Custom built ti Enigma with Capag Record Groupo, Fulcrum Racing 1 wheels, was stolen along with my Rocky Mountain Element 50 MTB. Please, please can you keep an eye out for the Enigma. It is unique in that it had a Cooper headbadge on it (I work for Cooper bikes). This bike was my pride and joy:
This is what the headbadge looks like:

Anyone lost a nice modern looking scott bike near bethnal green? Just seen a group of local youths with one and overheard them saying he ordered a bianchi then seen a bloke riding up and down on the scott, which was far too small for him probably 52cm. The guy was either very naive or a complete tosser, btw he looked a little yuppyish.

This is my friend's bike, stolen a while ago. It has been spotted twice, once on Waterson St N1 (dalston area) and once on Southgate St off Kingsland rd.
The front wheel has been changed to silver but nothing else has been changed. She's offering a reward.

Hi everyone. today my grey Surly bike was stolen from inside a shop on Hackney Road at 1.53pm. The bike has Miche large flange silver hubs with mavic dark grey rims laced with silver spokes, radial.
The saddle is Selle Italia grey and black, silver pedals, black front mudguard and silver rear mudguard. The bars are drop bars with silver tape and some pvc electrical tape, headset is black.I got this bike in 2005 from Johnny (Wilko or Wilkinson), here on the site - I have had this bike such a long time I am devastated that it has been stolen.
The theft is on the shop CCTV and the man who stole it was early 40's yrs old, 5"10 ish overweight and wearing a brown old mans cap, brown coat and blue jeans.Any advice on where to look or what else I can do to try and get my bike back would be really great.
Any news please message me. many thanks for all your beady eyes and good advice. Una

I will post pics of my bike when I get home, but some of the parts had changed since I last took them
Bollocks. I've just had my Condor nicked from the stairwell at the back of my office.
Needless to say I feel like a right twat. I'd half-fooled myself into thinking that the stairwell was sufficiently secure, it's not accessible to anyone without a key, and it's not even visible to anyone but a small number of office workers and a few posh residents from some adjacent apartments. Blah-de-sodding-blah, this is the obviously goopy "But... I thought it would be safe" dribble from someone who walked away from his bike one afternoon, leaving it unsecured while wearing a rucksack filled with bike locks. No excuses, just the faint wee-smell of total naivety.
Never a-fucking-gain.
Police called, notes left, and I've got the walk home to think about a suitable replacement.
