Hey dudes, I've just finished making up my Fort frame (which looks delicious now, pics coming) but I couldn't find any Fort decals anywhere, then when I was looking for general bike stickers I came across this guy's website who supplies many branded decals, both modern and classic. Bit pricey but they are pretty sweet. I ordered my decals in gold :)

I'm after some Joe Waugh decals in white with black outlines.
Dave Yates only has solid black and solid red left.
Neither H Lloyd nor Wanit have them...Any Ideas?

Does anyone have experience of this company for decals?
http://www.velociao.comJust bought some Benotto Bar tape of them, cheap and good service. Worth going to the shop in Berlin if in the neighbourhood. They do have a lot more stuff in stock than on their website (original decals) so its worth a call.

am in the process of restoring an old 1950's A.F.Mills bike and before sending it off to the spray shop I need to obtain replacement transfers, Nick at Lloyds has none and is currently not making any specials so was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of where to get some made up in the original style....I'm trying to avoid the one colour laser cut type that are easily obtained in most High streets, can anyone help?

I've got a French bike (racer) from the 1980's. It's a custom build and doesn't have any decals but I'd like to add some because it's such a lovely bike that the framebuilder deserves to have his name more visible.
I want to be careful with my choice of decals because I want it to continue to look classy and period-correct. I'm not really sure what sort of style I should be looking for. I tried googling for "classic french bike" pictures for inspiration and got a load of pictures of wrought-iron step-throughs rather than anything similar enough to mine to be inspiring.
Does anybody have any favourites with decals I can steal ideas from? Currently the only thing I can see that seems to be period-correct is to add the framebuilder's name to the side of the top tube and leave the rest of the bike without decor.

Any ideas about where to get retro Japanese decals?
After some for a hirame kuwahara.
I've had a look on most of the suggestions but most don't have a large Japanese range, any help would be great! -

Ok folks, rub on decals... any ideas? They don't seem too sticky? Read somewhere you rub frantically to generate heat then use something like a credit card to scrape them off? Only one shot at this, NOS decals.... argh.

I have a frame I want powder coated, after which I intend to apply waterslide decals.
Should I be worrying about lacquering the frame afterwards to seal in the decals and if so is the clear lacquer spray tin stuff easy/acceptable to use?
Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question.

I think I'm going to get a spare frame powdercoated and experiment. I'll report back.

ask if they can clear coat over the decals?
-
• #149
I will. Or I will do it myself and see what happens.

Anyone know if or where one can get some ENVE decals in black to cover seaposts logo? Or a good method (preferably foolproof!) to remove / disguise them ?
Spirit Fix:
1) Drink Whisky
2) Apply Decals
