My Marino arrived yesterday - initial impressions are really good. The finishing inside the frame is no worse than a £300 hybrid, so on the money. Welds aren't neat but aren't as messy as that guy on that blog recently. The headtube was filed out but it was a bit tighter than I usually expect. Headset went in fine with a bit of grease
I've stuck the (likely innacurate) Ipod angleometer on there and that thinks it's 1 degree slacker than requested, but I used my own fork so it's as least as likely that my measurements or Onza's measurements are out as Marinos.
The paint seems pretty tough - some OTP bikes I build flake when I tighten up the disc mount bolts or axle nuts. Not here.
