it's the old jewellery, gold and silversmithing area. some streets feel really lost in time. I'm sure there are more obvious and exciting places to visit, but I thought it was really interesting when I went (which was more than 10 years ago), mind you, I was making a lot of jewellery at the time. I'd like to go back and see how it's changed.
if you like chocolate you could go to Bournville.
