So after doing some riding on it I can safely say that it feels a lot more aggressive. Quite nice. However, the Planet X cap doesn't fit flush against the bearings. As soon as a considerable bit of force is put on it it wobbles about 0.5mm meaning the steerer isn't being held straight. Going to have to swap back to the FSA for now.
