  • I'm going with Maxxis Beavers.

I felt a little out of my depth spec'ing some parts of the bike, so asked for recommendations which I then went and read up on. I have changed a little, but the tyres Bromley Bikes recommended seem to have great things said about them.

My #1 use of the bike, the daily use, is going to be riding down the side of the Thames on a light gravel path with many puddles and patches of mud.

After that, it's for fields, trails, etc.

Basically though, wet is where it's at. The bike will get dirty fast and pretty much stay that way. So tyres that are adept at the wet were something I wanted.
