Whats the final spec list?
I personally think fork choice is a good one, but I'd have some Hope tech brakes over XTR.
I went against my 165mm cranks on everthing rule for my SS. 175s give a little more leverage when needed, yet I can still cruise OK. You kept your usual length?
Also I have the alu verisn of this carbon 17deg sweep bar. Takes silly amounts of dialing in, and you need to aviod the urge to cut it too much. But its perfect for a SS 29er IMHO. shopper like comfort when cruising, but gives bags of control and leverage when you step up the game.
