I had a 40gb fat ps3 that I filled rapidly, so stuck a 500gb hd in, then it YLODed, bought a 320gb slim and you can't go wrong with a large hdd.
What's the alternative atm? 120 or 250?
120 is too small IMO, a couple of years of saves, installs and updates you will fill it.
Plus any games you buy, movies you buy/ pie-rat, etc.
