Finally got my internet back.
Seems when virgin media wired up my neighbour they unplugged my cable and plugged the neighbours. They are refunding me the cost of paying for BT hotspot crap wifi and apologised profusely.
Thinking of leaving them and open to suggestions of a better ISP
