We took a plastic bottle of whiskey in fine. It's a test event so all the security staff are practising. The scanner operators were quite slow, and the frisks were very thorough, but they weren't actually looking for anything, just practising.
Taking a toddler will be fine, there were quite a few last night. Lots of space to run around, explore, and the staff inside didn't really seem to mind people going for a wander.
There were a fair few grumpy and tired kids on the trek back out again though.
