I like that non-aspirational clean design up the page. I'd be able to get over not having to wind it every day to stop it breaking down.

My point was not that you should buy a pilot watch instead but that it was overpriced and by some margin.
You could also get this for a similar price:
If you want "non-aspirational" then get a Swatch... same quality as the Uniform Wares and a quarter of the price. As for calling the Uniform Wares watch "non-aspirational", i think the reason it's so horribly overpriced is that it is aspirational in it's design. It's certainly not priced that way because of it's quality!!!
