This maybe true but if Knoll International caught you selling a Wassily Chair as the original piece you would be taken to court.
Non-licenced versions of the chair must be sold as Wassily "chair". Licenced originals have been produced by Knoll since 1953, each will be stamped with serial code on the uderside of the leg or on newer licensed versions have a signature plate.
