Not all income is PAYE or taxed at source.

Tax law / accounting is phenomenally complex.

HMRC loves to nail a celeb though, and have a whole department just for doing that.

(And for fucking it up - cf. Harry "Harry" Redknapp.)

Really? So is it just that complex for the sake of being complex? As in catching people out.
