Yeah XA's don't have the strongest catchs, if you sit on it in your pocket you can twist the thing enough to bust them open, then you go to pull it out of pocket and PUFF film door swings and hits you in the face, film ruined etc.....
I like 80s> canon EOS stuff as they wind teh whole film out first, then shoot it backwards, so every shot you've taken, is safe back inside the can.
I think a few 90s olympus/ canon compacts do that too? I used to have a 60s 35RF that shot backwards, can't remember what it was, looked like a Braun or an exacta?
