Excuse if a silly question - but how would you know if given a repeated pattern of searches with the word 'innit', that they were looking for the grammar thread?
For the word 'innit' alone, I wouldn't know, and wouldn't do anything.
But in the example I gave, if they searched for a phrase which clearly meant that they were aiming at the grammar thread, then yup, I'd change it.
Are there not bots hunting down porn and boosting the search results? Or is everyone that desperate?
Bots aren't counted in the stats.
And I don't think people are searching for pornography, in the same way that people aren't searching for pornography in bike porn, it's become a synonym for beautiful bikes, and I can only assume that people who use the phrase "food porn" think it's a synonym for posh food.
