  • ^^I think in this day and age if you have a superbly run club from top to bottom then you're already better off than 95% of English football fans. If you're sitting comfortably in the Premier League and winning 5-1 away against your most bitter rivals, even better. Playing nice football with better tactics as well seems like it would just be the icing on the cake.

    I can see where you're coming from I suppose, I would much rather watch a team playing nice football than winning by hoofing it up all the time. But there's a limit. The best way to look at it would be, how do you think it would feel to be a Wigan fan at the minute?

    Or Bolton or Blackburn - other masters of the "bloody 'oof it up t' big bloke" school of footballery
