New Vigorelli build. Bosh!

Ditch the hipster chain! ;)
Looks good, but more importantly, how does it ride?

This is what everyone has said to me so far! There's a reason it's pink!! The store where I bought it from was selling all the other colours at £29.99 or more. It was only £19.99 for the pink one! I really don't care about the colour of my chain - I care about making savings! Essentially I'm being paid to look like I give a fuck about style when really I couldn't care less! It's a KMC Superlight by the way.
It's beautiful. So much more responsive than the Leader. Shorter headtube and toptube means I'm further over the front wheel and have a deeper seat-to-bar drop. Feels like a feather!

Might strip it to raw alu? Who's supporting this? Ha!
-
• #113
Nah, don't do that... Not yet ;) Ride it like it is. It stands out!
-
• #114
I don't want to stand out! I want to DESTROY.

Do it man they look tasty raw...but the hhsb rules state you must own a carbon wheel.
-
• #116
Nooo! I will be the only raw frame in Cov ;)

HHSB? Will a carbon seatpost do? Back to Planet X I go...
-

If you strip it then you will be faced with filler and the welds. It's one reason to leave it as it is. Second reason is that you'll devalue it quite a lot. Don't know if that is important to you. I can think of other reasons to leave it as it is but then it's your bike after all.

I got the frame for pretty cheap and would assume that most people who are interested in buying one of these frames would not have the paint job as their top priority. But yes, I have thought about that. I think those exposed parts look hard as nails. But let's also not forget the huge weights savings from removing the paint too!
