Android phones, apps and tablets

Please could someone advise me which android I should go for next, I currently have a Desire S which I really like - I like the size and useability of it. Ideally I would like a phone with a better camera, better battery life would be good too. I use the phone as an MP3 player so a phone with decent sound would be good - was thinking maybe one of the htc beats phones?

I have a young friend that has recently got the **HTC Sensation XE **(Beats phone), and has never regretted anything so much. It overheats so badly, that he can't play 3D games on it, and it can almost be too hot to touch when charging. I can only recommend what not to get, and its the phone I've just mentioned.

I have the xl with beats audio and I love it apart from the whole htc sense 3.0 not being able to get the latest version of android thing. Had no problemss with overheating and the audio is good.
