a 10 speed cassette is thinner than a nine speed one. You need those stupid tiny spacers behind the cassette that are easy to lose. They are much more sensitive to set up and the chains don't seem to last as long.
Cheers cookie, I've heard much the same thing from some friends! A friend of a friend with the same frame had some serious shifting issues with a 10 speed as it was too large for the frame, so I think I'm going to settle for 8 and save myself some money!
