There was a skyrim thread, it was merged back in by hippy I believe
-
• #5228
No not just you.
A skyrim splinter thread was started, and merged before you could say 'hippy has a level 20 lipid perk'
I suppose that as this is a cycling forum there's no room for video game niche threads.

HTFU!
Actually with Dark Souls you can't
It is about being dead and dying again and again and never hardening up and if you do it picks you up smashes you against the ground throws you at a wall then sends lightening bolts up your arse -

Available on PC? I don't want to delve into consoles. It'd only end in tears and never doing ANY work. Ever.

Fraid not PS3 and Xbox only
No tears or lightening/fire up your arse CYOA -

Bought Battlefield 3 as it was cheap on Play.
Got around to installing last night. Just tried playing on my laptop - unplayably laggy despite meeting system reqs, up to date graphics drivers, all settings on low, also a weird audio double echo thing.
A quick scan of the forums suggests it's a common problem, tried to set compatability mode to run 98/ME - launched game, didn't launch.
Peeved of Clapton.

Sounds strange.
I am still tempted to buy it for PC also but most of my friends/ people on here play it on xbox.

P.S.
How good does Counterstrike Global ops look?
Watched a beta video of DE_Dust and it looks incredible.
-
• #5238
Dunno... I know it's only beta, but the movement looks iffy, I'm sure it feels nice to play though.
Still enjoying BF3 a lot. Driving around in tanks with a buddy is good fun. Not got to grips with flying anything yet... crashing, yes, flying, no way.

BF3 is a lot of fun. Probably go so far as to say It's one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played.
Got my longest headshot last night, sitting on a hill side with my mate. Got in to a duel with another sniper who we could barely see, I'm talking nose up against 23" monitor to make out a dot.
Anyway I hit him and this was the result;
Don't think I'll be breaking that Headshot record for a while.

• #5240
any of you still play BFBC2? on the xbox
-
• #5241
^^ I'll admit that I haven't played BF3 (I play CoD) so may be missing something, but 9% accuracy, ouch :-)
Joking, I'm sure you're very good.

Ha ha
I don't care, I don't play it competitively and the amount of times I snipe and fire bullets in the air just to be a pain and take shots at planes I know will never hit that probably accounts for my great accuracy %.

• #5243
it is tempting to shoot at those jets and helicopters

all i want is a buddy in GT5 world

Cool, I often do fire off random ones too; if someone on my team is standing in the way/being annoying or if I want to just annoy people that are hiding.

Does anybody on here have Netflix on the PS3 or Xbox 360?
-
• #5247
I have it on both... out of habit using it mainly on PS3
-
• #5248
whats the selection like compared to Lovefilm?
-
• #5249
I've got it on Xbox, and Lovefilm. Netflix currently has a one month free offer, so take a look.
It looks like Netflix has better films, thought that could be because I've seen everything I wanted to on lovefilm. lovefilm are pretty slow at putting new stuff up for streaming.
I understand the two are in a competition to get the big studios to sign up.
I can't get the sony internet tv app for netflix to work though, it's quite nice having lovefilm straight on the tv without the xbox needed.

well the UK netflix is limited movie wise. Don't expect the latest stuff from it but if you are looking to just watch older stuff (or tv series) then it's pretty good. I also have access to the US netflix, and it's a much larger select of movies. A uk login will allow you to use the US netflix but you have to be on an IP in the US (ie: use a vpn)
Anyone done with it and want to offload their 360 copy on me?
