I think BQ was on to something when he questioned Sparky's old tag. A quick look at tomoh's picture shows the chuchyard on a hill (Clapham Common is flat, no?) It also shows 2 tower blocks unlike any near to Clapham Common. Furthermore Battersea Power Station and the big blue gasometer are also visible in the background.
In the best tradition of Columbo et al, I have deduced the photo was taken facing due North and drawing a straight line from a mid point between the power station and the gasometer, straight through the left hand block of flats leads to to a totally different church. A church that was built in 1776.
