The next time you're dealing with Ed's malicious posting, I suggest you do the following:
I got past the link by screaming, "FUCK FUCK FUCK OH NO FUCKITTY FUCK NO NO NO SHIT SHIT!" until I had got past the hazardous area, and then I said, "OH FUCK OH THANK YOU GOD."

i've been well careful of the ice and then i came off on corner of ceceilia road last night and broke my arm and there was no ice to be found!
don't get it - water on the ground? i guess rear wheel would give when cornering in which case would bigger tyres be better? gatorskin on rear which i've always found ok.

Ha! I used to do that on my BMX as a kid - it was ace!
Then I leaned.
I don't go out on the ice anymore.

Scaphoid fracture? I have just had my plaster removed after falling hard a month or so ago on ice. Don't lean - good advice.

pretty minor one below radial head, they don't even give plaster for them, just sling and painkillers and sitting at home watching films...could be a lot worse !

Came off going up a north facing hill on a private road (which is why it hadn't melted) this evening, on the only ice on my entire commute. Thought I had a clear route through, didn't, and funnily enough climbing on ice is impossible
You're going on thin ice there, Ed.
