I've just re-read this, it is comedy fucking gold. Darren Bent? Ha ha ha ha. Parker? Ho ho ho ho ho. Lescott? Baines? They are all fucking journey men.

As for Carroll? Jesus fucking wept. He's fucking shit and any half decent European defence would suss him out in the first 5 minutes.

International football requires more nuance and tactical know how than the Premier League and one thing English players lack by the bucket full is nuance and tactical know how. As is demonstrated at every fucking international tournament England manage to qualify for.
