Now rolling on Hope SP-XC6's laced to DT4.2 and the bike is 500g lighter for it, thinking of going tubeless and swaping my lardy F100 RLT's for carbon rigids in a bid to save more weight, thoughts?
I'm riding an Inbred too, wish it was a 853 version though!
I'm just waiting for a pair of these to turn up -
Trigon MC01A - Claimed under 500g, axle to crown of 415mm, rake 45mm, £125 on eBay.
They're from the same company that make the Ritchey WCS 3K forks (around £400) and are pretty much identical as far as I could find out.
I'm currently running tubeless and it does save a lot of weight and improves the handling, so I'd say go for it.
One word of advice though, unless you're running tubeless specific tyres, make sure you give them a good scrubbing with soapy water as they'll probably have an anti bonding agent to stop the latex sticking to the tyre molds which you'll want to get off so that the latex sealant can work.
How are you finding the Hope Pro 3s? I've been thinking of getting a set with the crest rims but worried they won't be strong enough (bit of a clydesdale).
