Thats stunning. Might have mine re-sprayed in that sort of colour... Don't really like the red-black.

Found this thread and thought i'd add mine, got the Frame from Pistoffski, new forks as didn't want to drill the ones it came with. Also now with SPD Pedals.

Cheers fellow fort folks,
I´ve gotten my hands on a beautiful Fort track 7005 frame in the same colour sheme like the one mick posted before.
Unfortunately, the seller has measured the frame size wrong. He told me, that the frame would be 57 c-c, but it´s 53 c-c / 57 c-t. I haven´t built it up yet and I am worried, that it might be a tad too small for me. What size do you ride / how tall are you?
Thank you for your answers

Mine was 54 Square. I bought it from Pistoffski and then sold it to Morgasm. Not too sure where it is now.
-
• #41
^^ Mine's 56cm SQ and I'm about 6ft1.
How tall are you? You might be a little cramped but with a decent length stem on there you'll probably be fine!
-
• #42
I believe mine is the same - 53cm, maybe 54cm CTC. I'm 5'10" and find it perfectly comfortable with a 90mm stem. Bear in mind, I have never been professionally fitted for a bike so for all I know I could be doing untold damage to my musculo-skeletal structure. Comfy though.

I am 5'9". Thanks for dispelling my worries, I will build it up soon and let you know how I like it. Woohoo I am curious!

My powdercoated Fort 7005 w/ Makino NJS forks.
I'm running a Ti Selle Italia SLR instead of the Brooks now. Wouldn't mind getting some Mavic Ellipses for track wheels too...
Also... I'm 5' 11" and mine is 56cm.

As promised, here some pictures of my fort. Consider it a beta, chaninring, handlebar, stem etc. are going to be changed.
I love the geometry so far, but I need a shorter stem. Chain / wheelbase will be shortened to the max. as soon as the new chainring arrives.
Light and fast, nearly too fast for the city. Cheers

I love the geometry so far, but I need a shorter stem. 53c-c is, all against my worries, the right size for me (5'11''). Wheelbase will be shortened to the max. as soon as the new chainring arrives.
VERY light and fast, nearly too fast for the city. Cheers
What's going on with the track end / chain stay configuration here? This isn't standard, right?
-
• #48
No, it´s not standard - those are chain tensioners. Very useful for settin the perfect chain tension and setting the wheel straight in the middle of the rear end. The picture was made after the first assembly/test runs, I have adjusted them more exact since then (They look much more crooked than they were on the picture, because they stand a little to the outside).

I meant the track ends are drilled and are bolted on to the frame rather than welded (like Swopouts, etc).

At least that's what it looks like anyway...
you got the right headset then :)
