What cycle computer would people recommend?
This Cateye Strada Cadence was recommended in relation to candence ones. I'm not really sure if that's essential for me, it's a 'nice to have', but mainly I want time, speed, distance.
This Cateye Strada seems to get a good write up.
I've got a cheap trek one which is a pain to use as it's just really complicated. the batteries have run out and I'm thinking I may as well just get a new one that I like. A friend's advice was, "just by which ever Cateye wireless one you can afford". Hence the Cateye choices. I'd like to keep it as close to £30 as possible.
Any comments on the above, or other's I should conciser? Also what does a +£70 one do that a £30-50 one doesn't?
Cheers.

the strada wireless is really nice and small.
I have the wired cadence one and really like it. -

Sigma BC 1100 or 1200. simple, logical, cheap. Last for ever. I still have one that was the first cycle computer anyone in our club ever had, still works, and it is at least 18 years old.

I have the Strata cadence. Never had a problem with it in 5yrs. Pretty good clamp design so you can mount it on your bars or stem

I've bought two Strada Wireless models, and they are sleak and great. Good quality fittings too.

Right, I want some deep section black rims, non machined... I would get Varnos Pegasus but found them a little portly... is there such a thing as a light(ish)weight deep section rim or wheelset? Would love to have carbon but can't see myself affording them....

What were the causes and the social effects of the rapid urbanisation of Britain in the 19th century, and in what way can the urbanisation seen in less developed countries over the last fifty years be seen as a similar or totally different phenomenon?

Don't know, I've just started thinking about it. Probably budget £200 ish for a wheelset, built.

Spenceey - Do you still need a spacer? If you provide me with a drawing I can print the part for you
Here:
Nope not that part I'm afraid. I mean the plastic spacers that go between cassette cogs, they have tabs to hold them in place on the cassette.

My ones don't. Doesn't matter if they have the tabs or not, all they're doing is keeping the sprockets a set space apart.

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get my bike repainted in London?
Just bought it and am not too keen on it's current colour.
Thanks -

Anyone have any experience with a look KG361? Is €750 ex. shipping a good price for one?

^^^ Try reading this thread. http://www.lfgss.com/thread1238-5.html There are a few different places (Armourtex, Vaz...), each person will give you a different view of each shop.

What are the best batteries to use with Exposure Flare lights? I don't have a charger for those pesky little things.
-
• #24124
£20 for a charger pack. Do I really want another bloody battery charger?
http://www.exposurelights.com/product/000044/spark-charger-pack/especially with the run time difference

Yes, new non-rechargeable batteries are £6 each. Awesome light btw, definitely worth it.
