Strata is apparently one of the first buildings ever to incorporate wind turbines. I think Wiki says they were expected to provide enough energy for the communal area of the building and 8% of the building's (estimated) operational needs. So that's fallen a bit flat then, if a third of each day's generating capacity has been removed. How long before the turbines even offset their own manufacture?
But there are lots of other enviro-advances incorporated into its construction supposedly making it about as green as a haystack.
The New tag? I think its a 'scraper that also touts pretty specious benefits regarding photovoltaic cells.
