I think it's a bit far fetched to claim that people are cunts for not going for clipless, it's great for racing, sportif and the like, but it's not absolutely necessary for everything else.
I genuinely think it's very much a personal preference in the end rather than which is superior (clipless obviously, but that's not the point).
