  • so I am getting more and more interesetd in the Look 464... the MAsh gets ripped to shreds by so many people saying you can get so much more for your money and it is is just an overpriced hipster ride. OK.

right now people are getting giddy over pistofski's look 464 and everyone loving it. (fare enough he is giving it away at 485 pound) its a lovely looking frame, it really is. but as far as i can see it is much the same as a mash or super pista (that kinda gets the same reaction as the mash) regarding spec although on an inferior alu tubing. or am i wrong?

    Look 464: 6061 Alu, frame 1600g fork 360g total: 1960g, rrp 734.99pound
Mash: columbus airplane , frame & fork total 2050g, rrp 720pound
bianchi SP: 7005 alu, frame 1760g fork 560g total 2320g, 750pound approx (although i have seen much lighter specs on websites

So i have just qouted it as being the lightest of these 3 (although i cant see the SP really being that heavy but thats what i found) but from the mash it is only 90g lighter and as expensive..

my question is does the mash really deserve the hate it gets or is it purely the 'Hipster' attachment it has that brings people to loath it?

i know i have only made a comparison to the look but its getting a lot of love when being sold on here at a cheap price whilst the mash would still get slated to fuck being sold at 485. it would sell but it would get hated too!

or is this just a totally pointless question?!

    You missed out :-

Cinelli Vigorelli: columbus airplane , frame & fork total 2050g, rrp 565pound.

That £155 hipster tax buys you a sloping top tube and some Mash stickers
