I keep coming back to this, looks nice. Got any Carbolift spare? wouldn't mind de-badging my cranks.

All this time looking for R600s and I didn't even see these little fellas. Well that's sorted then. What an amateur...
Thanks, Jay.
Nice build. Understated, rather than bling.

I was really disappointed by Carbolift, it seemed to just soften the paint up and I ended up doing most of the work with razor blades and sandpaper. I had planned on doing the frame and forks but couldn't be bothered with the hassle, especially as most of the paint on the frame is white which seems to be completely unaffected by Carbolift.
The customer service was dreadful aswell. I didn't recieve any confirmation of shipping, then it took them around 3 weeks to respond to my e-mails asking where it was and another couple of weeks to get round to putting it in the post. So just under seven weeks wait for a product that doesn't work as advertised.

Are there any that look a bit more 'grrrr' or 'aaarrgh' like those CNC machined jobbies?
Isn't there anything remotely blingy on the deep drop front? I know deep drop is for hairy tourers and audaxers but goddammit! I need something cooler.
Or maybe order one Planet X nano light (or whatever they're called), take it apart and then redesign it and have your own cnc version made for you, with a longer drop.

My new bike for pootling about, changed the bars but unsure whether it'll stay fixed or I'll put gears back on. A rack of sorts, different foot retention and a different set of cranks at some point.
I haz a gamoh for sale very cheap!

To whom it may concern,
I'm mdcc_tester (just a pseudonym), and I am a well respected contributor to the london fixed gear and single speed internet forums. I would like to point out that your listing could not POSSIBLY include a 5 speed cassette, and you must have made an error.Rest assured, we are all laughing at your mistake.
I can only imagine how embarrassed you are.Yours,

Took my PX frame into work last week to check for damage after my crash in Bournemouth last season... had to do a little repair on a crack round the BB, so it needed a re-spray too.
I mixed up a nice deep purple, with metalic black graphics, scallops on th top tube, inner fork blades & inner chain & seat stays. Quite hard to photograph the colour, as the 2K lacquer makes it much darker, and the contrast between black & purple is pretty subtle. Should look good in the summer sunlight. Fucked off the shitty PX font for a Zombie Death font too.need to build up my carbon tubs, and then put it all back together again. Hopefully the hubs will turn up in time to get it ready for the start of season in March.

great colour, where do you work hoops?
-
• #55690
Awesome work Mr Hoops- I predict you will now get not fewer than 40 PM's that ask if you will paint frames for ~£50
-

Paint pens are chalk based, so will probably flake off. You maybe want to try a grout pen, that won't be going anywhere..
these are quite permanent paint pens...

Don't want to sound like a dick, but I'd rather not say to be honest. The last time it got mentioned on here, I got a lot of unwanted attention from people asking me to 'hook them up'.

LOL.... I won't be painting anyone elses frames I'm afraid. I'm Doing Dov's Bianchi at some point, but we have a special 'arrangement'.

That is a gorgeous colour. Love the decals too.

You mistakenly conclude that a 5-speed cassette is impossible, when it is simply unlikely. It might really have a 5-speed Shimano Uniglide cassette, although it is much more likely that it has a 5-speed freewheel and the bike was sold by one of the 12 year olds who now run the world but don't know the difference.

Thanks mate.
Was going to do Grupetto colours, but learned after doing my last frame in Grupetto livery, that it somewhat restricts re-sale possibilites to fellow short-ass club members! -

If that special arrangement involves "favours" of a certain kind.... I'm game, if you'll do my frame...

haha.. 'fraid not.
Dov is a good freind, and is helping me out with my wheel build in return... I am new to wheel building, and dont fancy a using a set of 50mm carbon tubs that I'll be racing on as a learning curve... -

Not a dick thing to say, must be really annoying. i was actually just wondering as you mentioned doing a repair on the BB (not that i have crabon to repair)
but now you've said that i'm doing my first build and i'd love to get something as sweet as this
can you do baby blue paint jobs? this is gorgeous
