Why are you asking this in a Visp thread?
-
• #183
Because there is knowledge, right here.

Does anyone know the OD of the headtube on the TRX790 frame? Just built mine up, it rides pretty sick, but the headset that came with it ain't that buttery!!

• #193
any semi-integrated headset will do.

Has anyone bought a Visp TRX999 recently? If so, has anyone been hit with any stupid custom taxes? I wanna get one soon but don't want to be paying over £200 because of tax and shit.

I didn't have to pay any taxes on TRX790, it's cheaper but the dude marks the item as gift.Sumo:
Semi integrated headsets can come to fit headtubes with and OD of 46mm or 50mm. -

I feel this is an appropriate place to ask?? Im looking to change the fork on my vispy from the current 40kg lead gurder to something a tad lighter. My understanding is that the fork is dead straight yet it says the rake of the fork is 45mm?? Is this just my understanding (or lack of) of fork rake or is the rake not 0mm?? PS. Visps are boss

curvature of the fork has nothing to do with the rake. -

I came from riding steel frames, so i was pretty worried about the difference in ride quality, to be honest this harsheness that people talk about is nonsense! You do notice a difference, but it's minimal. The 999 looks sick, but i was on tight budget and got the 790 from the aussi ebay cause it was 57 notes, I got a 43mm rake carbon fork to compliment it and it's a nice responsive ride!

It's a Visp, nobody buying it for the ride quality...
I like the seatpost too, it isn't definitely heaviest or shitties one I've had.
Couple dudes had broken their's back here in cold north, don't know were they just bit "bigger"/fattier lads or were their seatpost just some shittier factory seconds.
