I wore my Lakes in the rain yesterday and can report dry feet and dry socks when I arrived in the office. I don't like the 'feel' of the Sealskinz socks. I've got a nice pair of thick merinos for the winter.
Cyclesurgery (at Victoria at least) had a pile of Lakes left (slightly different model to mine) today. I was seriously tempted to pick up another pair since I think they've stopped making them. They're £54.50 IIRC
