Sgt Pepper of Beatles fame is actually Dr Peppers younger brother who joined the military in a fit of jealousy after tiring of his parents constant praise of his elder siblings meteoric progression through medical school and subsequent health-tonic empire.

After leaving Key Point military academy and still not able to please his Colonel father, Sgt. Pepper moved to LA. He was better known under his stage name Jim Morrisson, a good friend of George Harrisson, after being booked by mistake into the same hotel room in Toronto.

Seeing as Wikipedia is now back up I can tell you that both of these facts are true, additionally, did you know that Jim Morrison set up a chain of supermarkets in the north of England in later life.
