↑↑Cervelo quantified it when they launched the S3; 200g heavier frame is only slower once the gradient gets to >8% or something in that vicinity. Obviously that's for Elites who ride uphill faster than us, but frames are much less important than wheels for aerodynamics. Have you noticed how Milan-San Remo (hardly a flat race) now gets won on 808s, not 700g lighter 303s?
