• I'd like to back up what has been said about the Halo Courier Berlin. It is a great anti puncture tyre and good for commuting, but so dangerous when cornering. I only have a Berlin on the back wheel (Maxxis on front), and yesterday was a quite wet cold day on the road. I was riding down London rd in South London and while cornering, the wheel lost suddenly grip and here I go hitting the ground at 20mph in a busy junction with the bike spinning around. Lucky I wasn't carry my d-lock on my waist. I wasn't on any manhole cover neither any white painted line for the record. I blame the massive wall this tyre has which gives it no grip on cornering. I also found out that on the rest of the painful trip, the wheel kept on slipping on any white lines and manhole covers, really badly.

I would not recommend this as a bad weather tyre. This is the second time it happened to me (but first time was on dead leaves). However, 6 months on and no puncture with really bad road conditions and daily use for commuting. Not sure though if I will keep it as it broke my confidence on cornering and I now corner very large on wet roads since yesterday.
