The name's Will, I'm either riding a crappy black and red Claud Bulter courier (Sprayed so no badges) or my slightly nicer Blue Dolan Preffisio frame road bike I built up this Christmas, I'll get some pictures up soon.
Usually wearing a bandanna and black jacket with 'the writing' on the back OR waistcoat and top hat, depends if on bike or foot. If you see me give me a shout, always keen to meet more riders!

Hi! There are lovely riders at polo, why not give it a go?
-

^ Living up to his job.
But yeah I tried for a lark, and now I'm inducted into the cult of polo.

Might give it a go, been lurking around the Polo threads for a while in an interest about it, cheers!

good good, we'll be about on thursday evening and sunday, you can come check out whichever day but we'll probably be making sunday more beginner based in the future. you are, however, more than welcome to come have a beer and a chat and borrow my bike/mallet for a knockabout on thursday too

Hey guys,
Another Will here (sorry!), in Manchester fairly regularly. Usually cruising around on a fairly munted looking Genesis - feel free to shout at me or stop me and say hi if you see me knocking around

• #109
I guess I could do... I have a fairly limited knowledge of bike polo which doesn't really extend past - it's polo...
...played on bikes
-
• #110
you've played before then?
come down and check it out, we'll give you a little run through, you can just watch and drink, or have a bash if you fancy
-
• #111
I honestly can't say I have, but I'll definitely come along and have a look at how it should be done!
What time do you guys meet on a Sunday?

Here's my introduction,
I'm Farrell
I either ride a tatty old GT Palomar MTB or my marginally smarter 1960s Andre Bertin road bike. I have other bits of bikes dotted around, annoying the crap out of my girlfriend.
I'm not from London. nor are any of my bikes fixed gear or singlespeed, so I am a little unsure as to why I've ended up on the LFGSS forum, albeit in the Manchester sub-section.
I have a mistrust of black cab drivers.
I am interested in giving bike polo a crack if thats of any use to anyone.

The HHSB v2.0 has arisen! Still need plenty of bits, but it's becoming more and more stealthy...
Watch out of it being walked around the Northern Quarter and compulsively polished.

Next up - Black omniums, Zen chainring, thomson seatpost (in the post), silly wheel.
I'm tempted by a rear spok...

Hey guys,
I'm Ash, have a few bikes but mainly ride a SS Peugeot, a 12 speed MBK or my old George Whitlow.
I ride mostly to commute to work/uni but I'm also coined with the 'Urban Explorer' title as one of my other hobbies so riding helps me get out and about.
Peace!
