I am all for a new yacht, damn shame the old one got binned - cant have our royals slumming it, and nothing says we are beter than the rest of you euro spending scum than parking a big fat gin palace in front of em.
The reality of the royal yacht was that it was used by the royals for accommodating them when on tour, and as such the money spent on upkeep is probably less than the money spent housing them in fat hotels and the associated security measures.
I dont think we should be buying them a new one, but if someone else stumps up the cash then i am all for it.
