wore the Planet X ones this Sunday gone and my hands were about the warmest thing on me, having managed to leave base layer and jersey at work. Definately no problem with the cold, but no grips on the braking fingers meant uncertainty when gravity kicked it, I really couldn't get a lot on purchase on the carbon levers. They don't look like they will last many winters either, but then they are a fiver
