Extremely unprofessional and unqualified advice here so be warned.
The biggest concern about taking co-codamol is the paracetamol in it. The paracetamol will kill you long before the codeine does if you take too many and too many is not actually that much for most people.
You should talk to your doctor and see if they can adjust your pain meds.
