So I'm starting to feel the desire for hoods on my fixed gear. Also the engineer in me wants two working brake hoods. Also the aesthetic in me doesn't want a rear brake as there are no cable guides even though the frame is drilled.
So....
what are the options for two levers operating the front brake? I know of the "problem solver" one but it's a bit pricey. I've heard that the method of using a y-cable thing from a bmx giro is a little dodgy. I've seen another little gizmo that's like a bearbones version of the "problem solver" but I can't remember the name and I don't seem to have the google skills. Help please!
I have something I got when I lost the use of one hand, so both brakes were operated from one lever. I think it will work the other way roan easily enough. If I recall it was marketed as "the pervert"
It wasn't elegant though, and neither is the problem solver, which does the same job.
