By which I mean, when I put anything more than moderate pressure on the pedals there's a loud click from the rear freewheel cog and the pedal cranks jump forward a quarter turn or so. This then happens again anbd again until I'm up to a normal speed.
I think the cheap £7 freewheel off eBay may be at fault, and I'm minded to buy a new better (and more stealthy silent) one but I'm wondering if anyone's got any diagnosis for me?
I've bought a Groupon voucher for a service and I'm taking the machine in for them to have a look at since (as documented elsewhere here) my effortsregarding the wheels have resulted in another deathtrap feature (where the rear wheel tries to jump out of the dropouts at any given point) so I might just say to them, "Do what needs doing..."
