  • Meh, I save carbs for the day before long rides nowadays. Doesn't seem to be doing any harm so far. There seems to be enough in the Promax to keep me going til lunch doing a physical job. Used to yam a bacon and hash brown sarnie at around 11 nearly every day (being van-based does that to you). Glad to be shot of it tbh as it always left me feeling pretty lathargic and gacky about an hour later. Not really missing carb based food but well aware they are still required.
    Atkins can fuck off, Lady Liz tried that and Dukan, both were pretty much unsustainable in the real world.
