I know a gentleman on Walworth Rd, Fred The Shoe is his name, the shop has been part of a family business for the best part of 100 years not unlike Edwardes Cycles further up on the same side. Anyway, Fred often gets in 'seconds' from Alfred Sargent that go for a song. By seconds I mean a single stitch is slightly out of place, for someone to notice they'd have to take the shoes off your feet sit down and study them for a bit, even then they could be wrong. I have a few pairs and bloody lovely they are too :)
You gents should check him out. The front of the shop is called 'Men's Traditional Shoes' they also do work boots.
